Chieko and Stefano believe music to be an emotional connection with the audience. This aspect is evident in their steadfast quest for the beauty of sound and richness of tone.  The emphasis on phrasing, depth of polyphony, and dynamic power creates a perfect fusion.  Chieko and Stefano design a repertoire that ranges from classic to contemporary, with special attention to popular music with a classic bend and reaches listeners universally.    Despite being a recent formation, Chieko and Stefano have a background of distinguished musical activities. Winner of more than 20 International Competitions (such as Tokyo International Guitar Competition, Concorso Città di Alessandria, Concorso Mauro Giuliani, Concorso Pujol, Competition of Lagonegro for the interpretation of contemporary music, Competition Fernando Sor, Competition Città di Mottola, Competition Nicola Fago). Their careers consist in more than 2000 concerts in Europe, United States, Asia, Africa in prestigious Festivals and halls: Bath Festival, Cordoba Guitar Festival, Auditorium Conciliazione e Parco della Musica in Rome, Autunno Musicale di Como, Teatro Rendano di Cosenza, Wiener Festwochen, Lublijana Festival, Teatro delle Erbe di Milano, Teatro Piccinni di Bari, University of Belgrade, Palais Wittgenstein di Dusseldorf, Conservatorio di Zagabria, Tychy Guitar Festival, Brno Festival, Mikulov Festival, Santo Tirso Festival, Israel Guitar Festival, Tsavta Hall di Tel Aviv, Rebecca Crown Auditorium di Jerusalem, Guitar Festival City of Alessandria, Festival Paganini in Parma, Festival in Berlin, Madrid, Stockholm, Liverpool, Paris, Rome, Milano Turin, Syracuse, etc. They were part of tv and radio broadcasts all over the world. They recorded for important recording labels including Brilliant Classics, Bridge Records NY, Nuova Era, EdiPan, Rivo Alto, Sonic View, Niccolò, Guitart Collection, Da Vinci Classics. 

In  spring 2024 the concept “”Meaningful Pop ” will be represented in two big tours, first in Uk and Ireland and second in Asia with concerts in Japan,China and Korea.



STEFANO PALAMIDESSI

He studies guitar and composition, graduating at “S. Cecilia ” in Rome with top honors. At the age of 20 he begins his concert activity, as a soloist, with orchestra and in collaboration with illustrious musicians such as Renato Bruson, Aldo Redditi, Goffredo Petrassi, performing and recording for over 16 television and radio stations around the world. Author of “Study methodology and technical exercises for guitar” (1999), in January 2000 he inaugurates the teaching cycle for the GuitArt magazine with a publication on Fernando Sor’s studies in collaboration with Brian Jeffery (analysis, phrasing indications, articulation and fingering). After the world premiere recording of the complete Fantasies by Fernando Sor, published in 3 CDs for the Dutch label Brilliant Classics, Stefano is preparing three different new solo and chamber recording projects. His biography is included in the publication “The Classical Guitar: it’s evolution, players and personalities since 1800” by Maurice J. Summerfield. In addition to holding masterclasses in Italy and abroad, he teaches guitar in degree courses at the Conservatory of Music “Licinio Refice”, director of the Civica Scuola delle Arti, International Academy of Music in Rome, and he is general manager of Fabrica Harmonica ETS, with which organizes an average of 120 musical events per year.



CHIEKO HATA

Coming from a family of musicians, Chieko Hata developed her passion for guitar and music from an early age. She graduated from Cesena Conservatory in Italy under the guidance of Stefano Palamidessi, to whom she attributes her musical and instrumental knowledge. In 2007 she was accepted, with a full scholarship, at Yale University School of Music. Chieko has taken part in festivals in Europe, Japan and the United States performing in prestigiuos venues like “Oji Hall”, “Tokyo Bunkakaikan”, New York 92nd Street just to name few, both as a soloist and in chamber formation. In 2023 “A Journey Through Valses” was released, recorded by Sonic View and distributed by “Lumi Edizioni Musicali”.
